We Celebrate Holidays Here
It's 76 days before Christmas but it's also 21 days before Halloween.
Look, that's why the tree at the center celebrates both holidays.

What's in the Pantry
Hey Christine,
Thanks for telling me that the bake sale at Rockwell started early this year.
I really like the desserts there and they're hard to find because they're usually home-made by some lonely housewives from Forbes, etc.
I'm starting to appreciate my Saturday morning classes because the bake sale in Power Plant is only available on Saturdays.
Hopefully, Nadia will meet me there next Saturday so she could be introduced to Gayuma's B.T.S.(Ahem, according to Jeff it's B.W/S. ;-) )
Anyways, attached are pictures:
1. Dark Chocolate and Almond brittle from Kitchen's best by Roselyn - worth the Px/gram
2. Choco caramel cheese cake ball from...tsk. tsk. no label - good cheesecake, bad branding.
3. Gayuma's BTS, by the way they'll open a restaurant open some time next year - yay!
4. Mini-Cupcakes from the Sweet Life by Ange
(couture cupcakes: Marie Antoinette: Vanilla Cupcake with Tequila Rose Buttercream
Sugar Daddy - Moist choco cake with Bailey's Buttercream
Satine - Red Velvet cupcakes with Cream Cheese etc.)
And since wala akong naabutan sa office. Too bad. I won't be bringing everything home though because my lola's diabetic and my mom's just going to lecture me about it.

Symbian - Future OS Giant
The future looks good for mobile and Symbian - their goal is to be the number 1 operating system in the world. Take note, not just a leader in the domain of the smart phone OS.
"Today, the PC is the preferred device for accessing the Internet, but that will change in 2012, when it will be surpassed by mobile devices, IDC said. " (from NetImperative)
Strategically, Symbian is now an open source platform c/o the Symbian Foundation composed of Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung, LG Electronics, etc.

Liking iGoogle and Twitter together
I'm in like with iGoogle right now.
It's a non-intrusive "homepage" that let's me explore widgets.
Very dummy friendly.
I just inserted a neat twitter tool in my iGoogle that changes colors according to the time of day.
Well we'll see the reason I didn't like the other kinds was when it became too cluttered.

Go Yahoo Go!
I met with Yahoo today and discovered that Yahoo Go! is an application - a widget platform for mobile phones and not an operating system like Android.
We tried exploring Android last year but our dude decided to switch topics because he didn't want to replace his current mobile phone OS. We decided to focus on exploring application technologies that run on existing platforms.
The cool thing about Yahoo Go! is that one of their goals is to help developers to build an application once and allow them to run in ALL mobile phones.
That'd be soooo great. Making an application run in Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, and Samsung is a tiresome process.
